How often should I have my windows cleaned?

Professional home and property maintenance experts recommend homeowners have their windows cleaned at least twice a year. Even more often for those with view properties, homes with larger windows (which are more susceptible to becoming compromised) and those in areas with high levels of blowing sand and pollen. Sounds like Sedona and the Verde Valley, doesn’t it?

Even if it’s a home with seasonal use, twice a year exterior only cleaning will help protect the integrity of windows from becoming compromised, thus better protecting your long-term investment and market value.

We are well versed in providing these services on transition days so as not to impact inventory. Even twice a year exterior only cleaning will help protect the integrity of windows from becoming compromised, thus better protecting your long-term investment and market value.

Why is it important to have regular window cleaning?

Because it helps protect property owners’ pocketbook, their long-term investment and their market and resale value. Blowing sand, pollen and other particles built up on glass is one of the major causes of compromised windows. Left on the glass too long, these deposits can create a tiny hole in the glass or seals which allow the argon gas between the windowpanes to escape. Rising and cooling temperatures allow these tiny holes to act like a bellow to suck in dirt and condensation. The results are windows that become hazy and hard water stained. Not only does this ruin views and compromising energy efficiency, but will also affect the homes’ overall market appeal, resale value and/or create the need for costly replacement.

How often should I have my gutters inspected?

Regular gutter cleaning is crucial to maintaining a property’s structural integrity. Professional home maintenance experts recommend inspecting and cleaning your gutters twice a year.

When you have a clogged gutter, rainwater has nowhere left to go but to overflow. In some cases it may soak through your shingles or leak down interior and exterior walls causing the need for mold remediation and costly structural repairs. In serious cases it can soften the soil around homes’ foundation, leading to foundation cracks and even cause structural failure in a building.

Clogged gutters also make nice homes for mold, pests, rodents, and bee infestations.

What types of pressure washing do you do?

We specialize in a variety of custom pressure washing services offering “Hot Water” cleaning services. Maintenance experts state that “Hot Water” pressure washing is four times more effective for removing stains, oils, grill spills, tire marks and more than cold water cleaning and provides longer lasting results.

Besides entries, patios, pool decks and other hard surfaces, we can even do your whole house. Home maintenance experts agree that pressure washing your entire home every three to four years will extend its longevity and curb appeal. By removing dirt, grime, and other residues you can help prevent long-term damage to surfaces and extend the time needed between painting.

For those with one of the various new cool decking products on their patio and poolside areas, hot water pressure washing is the warranty recommended cleaning method.
